GENLOGS & PAPER TRANSPORT (PTI) PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
Paper Transport (PTI), a full-service transportation provider based in De Pere, WI, announced today its partnership with GenLogs, a truck intelligence company, to enhance its carrier sourcing capabilities and strengthen the fight against cargo theft. By utilizing GenLogs’ nationwide network of roadside sensors, PTI can identify and secure trusted carrier capacity in real time—eliminating reliance on traditional load boards, a common entry point for fraudulent activity. As one of only 200 logistics providers with access to this powerful intelligence platform, PTI is taking a proactive approach to protecting freight, ensuring secure, efficient, and data-driven transportation solutions for its customers.
“Shippers should take note that PTI has invested in a powerful toolkit to keep freight out of the hands of fraudsters and thieves,” said GenLogs CEO Ryan Joyce. “Not only does PTI have a holistic view of the market, but our platform also provides them with insights into backhaul opportunities, enabling them to reduce their customers’ transportation costs.”
Founded in 2023 by former U.S. intelligence officials, GenLogs, based in Virginia, applies counterterrorism principles to combat fraud in the trucking industry and streamline freight operations. The company’s roadside sensors provide real-time truck data, including carrier names, numbers, and critical details about the equipment in use. GenLogs also has a demonstrated ability to recover stolen cargo, thanks to its dedicated Investigations Team, which is comprised of former US Intelligence Community professionals.
“We are excited to add this new technology platform to our suite of tools, enhancing our ability to deliver solutions and visibility for our customers,” said PTI Chief Commercial Officer Jared Stedl. “In just a few months, GenLogs has helped us tackle fraud and source capacity in hard-to-serve lanes, and this is just the beginning. GenLogs is a game-changer for the logistics industry.”
Specializing in dedicated truckload, intermodal, and logistics solutions, PTI has a strong nationwide network that delivers reliable capacity, cost-efficient freight solutions, and data-driven insights to optimize supply chains. By integrating GenLogs’ intelligence platform, PTI enhances its ability to source carriers efficiently, mitigate fraud risks, and provide greater visibility for shippers. This partnership further strengthens PTI’s commitment to delivering secure, scalable, and flexible transportation solutions, ensuring shippers have access to trusted capacity in even the most challenging lanes.
GenLogs sensor network has uniquely fingerprinted nearly 300,000 for-hire carriers and observed their trucks nearly 1 billion times over the last six months compared to only 1 million inspections conducted by the US Department of Transportation. GenLogs also has network and lane data on over 250,000 shippers across the United States and is poised to expand into Mexico and Canada later this year. GenLogs has helped customers prevent millions in losses and helped recover over 1,000 stolen or misused trailers.
